Work Experience: Ken joined DeMont & Breyer in 2002.  Since that time, Ken has prepared and prosecuted a wide variety of patent applications in the electrical, software, and mechanical arts.  He is experienced with counseling clients on various patent-related issues.  In counseling clients, Ken has analyzed the patentability of inventions and has collaborated extensively with corporate inventors in generating invention disclosures.  Ken has also developed the firm's international practice over the years and works together with many foreign counsels in achieving clients' goals.

Prior to joining DeMont & Breyer, Ken worked at Bell Labs for more than 15 years in research and development, in a wide range of roles including systems engineering and software/firmware development.  While at Bell Labs, Ken designed underwater signal processing equipment for the Navy and also telecommunications equipment for wireless service providers.  Ken also worked for a time in business management and holds an M.B.A. degree in Entrepreneurial Studies, in addition to advanced Engineering and Law degrees.
