Jason Paul DeMont
Role: Patent Attorney
Work Experience: Jason co-founded DeMont & Breyer in 1997. He loves technology, the intellectual process of inventing, and patent prosecution, and the firm is the perfect vehicle for enjoying all three. Since 1997, Jason has personally written and prosecuted hundreds of patent applications in the electrical and computer arts.
In 1996, Jason co-founded Achates Reference Publishing, Inc., which publishes e-books for IP attorneys. He is still actively involved in the operation of Achates.
In his spare time, Jason enjoys taking college classes and is taking iOS (iPhone/iPad) development classes in the Spring of 2012. He is also an expert pistol shooter and placed 3rd in the 2011 Texas State Outdoor Conventional Pistol Championship.
Jason is an avid inventor and has licensed his inventions to Fortune 500 companies.
